The Viyuela Gran Reserva is the highest expression of the winery, an exceptional aging red made 100% from Tempranillo (Tinta Fina) grapes from old vineyards in the Ribera del Duero. Its aging of 34 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by a long refinement in bottle, gives it a unique complexity and extraordinary aging potential.
On the nose, it reveals deep aromas of candied black fruit, leather, cocoa, and elegant balsamic notes. On the palate, it is broad, silky, and has very polished tannins, leaving a persistent and harmonious finish.
🍷 Pairing and Service
- Perfect with roasted red meats, game, long-cooked stews, and very aged cheeses.
- Serve between 16 and 18 °C and decant at least 45 minutes before consumption.
