Pago de los Capellanes | DO Ribera del Duero
The Pago de los Capellanes is a red wine from the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero, produced by the winery Pago de los Capellanes, located in the town of Pedrosa de Duero (Valladolid). This wine is characterized by its elegance, balance, and great expression of the Tempranillo grape, reflecting the personality of the terroir of its centenary vineyards.
Made with selected grapes of Tempranillo and subjected to careful aging in oak barrels, it presents intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits, vanilla, cocoa, and light spicy notes, showcasing a complex and sophisticated profile.
Of deep ruby red color, on the palate it is round, elegant, and persistent, with velvety tannins and a long finish that highlights the minerality of its origin. Ideal for pairing with red meats, roasts, traditional stews, Iberian cured meats, and aged cheeses.
